Information Collected

Buyers

When you register to bid you will be required to provide your name, telephone number, email and postal address. The information you provide to us is stored on our password-protected computer system. We will take all reasonable steps to protect your information and will not pass it on to anybody. If you purchased goods and require shipping then you will need to set that service up yourself and ensure that the shipper has a copy of your paid invoice, with your details, in order to collect your goods.

If you register to bid online through UKAuctioneers.com, then please refer to the Privacy Policy on their website.

Should you choose to pay for your goods by card, all details taken will be processed directly, either at the window or over the telephone, through the Lloyds Cardnet system. Your card details will not be retained by us in any way, and we recommend that you do not send card details by email.

Vendors

When you bring goods to use for sale we will fill out a receipt with your name, telephone number, email and postal address and put these details on our password-protected computer system. We will take all reasonable steps to protect your information and will not pass it on to anybody. If you require transportation of your goods then, with your agreement, we will need to give the collection address and details to our removals contractor. Please be aware that we may be required by law or regulation to disclose certain details to the relevant authorities.

Valuations

If you request a valuation from us we will need your name, address and telephone number to process the valuation. If your valuation is for probate we may need to share information with your solicitor or co-executor. Please be aware that we may be required by law or regulation to disclose certain details to the relevant authorities.
